MARK, our protagonist, needs a distraction from writing the eulogy. Memories flood in from an old flame, but so do old emotions.

Wilmington Fundraiser

Fundraising Part 1

The Live Oaks venue which was hosted by Peggy Badour was a great opportunity to have an in person event to premiere the proof of concept and to create traction for the film. The event was put together by Hey Dad’s producer and with the help of Peggy and her team, Hannah and Cece.

Our team was able to contact several local artists from Wilmington and Charlotte to donate their artwork to help us raise money for the event. Through their work and the donations from our sponsors, we were able to raise over $2,000. There’s still work to be done and art that can be bought! Please visit our store or donation page, all proceeds go directly to the budget and production of Hey Dad.

Hey Dad

screening

We plan on having a screening in July.

Sip City Market & Bottle Shop

Why do a screening?

A screening is a great opportunity for the film community in Charlotte to network and meet other creatives. There will only be one showing of Hey Dad before it’s given another draft and sent off to the festival circuit. Any donations will help with festival submissions.
